About the event
Common Employment Mistakes Small Businesses Make (and How to Avoid Them)
Small business owners are often hard-working, diligent, busy entrepreneurs, frequently pulled in the many directions of their operations and often overextended. In their haste to build and maintain their businesses, they often inadvertently overlook important legal considerations of operating a business. Â Even the most well-intentioned companies may find themselves making a number of potentially serious legal mistakes, which not only expose them to legal disputes but also are time consuming and expensive. Â This presentation addresses common mistakes small businesses make in their employment operations and discusses strategies to avoid those missteps.
